Everyone Need Access To Clean Water
Who can live with a happy life without access to clean water? Have you ever seen people living with no access to clean water? How was it? Are they happy with it? And what do they think of clean water? Are they want to drink it? Have they dreamed of having clean water to drink? For me, I never saw people who don’t have access to clean water in real-life, but I know how hard is it to live with no access to clean water. There’re no one can live without access to clean water and no one happy with no access to clean water. Drinking unclean water can affect your health but you need to drink that water to keep you alive even though it’s going to kill you in the future.
Now a day there are a lot of people that living with no access to clean water and those people aren’t living with a healthy and happy life. There are also a lot of people that died from the water-related disease. Most of the countries that don’t have enough resources to clean water the economic in that country grow really slow. No access to clean water affects the whole country because of its citizens, access to clean water and they took a lot of time just try to find water. There are more than 86 millions of people that living with no access to clean and the number of this population are continuing to increase every second.
Even though, some countries don’t have enough resources of clean water but, the government needs to make sure that its citizens have full resources to clean water and receive the same amount of clean water. Everyone should have access to clean water in order to make a healthy world. There are three reasons why the government needs to make sure that everyone should have access to clean water. It is the government’s job to make sure that its citizens have access to clean water to ensure good health and well-being, education, and economic growth.
People can’t live happily without good health and well-being. But, what if you are unhealthy you have the big disease and you don’t have access to clean water. What can you do? There is only death that we can do but, the government job needs to make sure that its citizens can access to clean water. What word that come to your mind first when you hear access to good health? Is it access to the hospital? According to www.medicalnewtoday.com good health, “refers to a state of complete emotional and physical well-being. Healthcare exists to help people maintain this optimal state of health”. So, access to good health means that you are healthy. Anyway, are you still healthy if you don’t access to clean water? The answer is definitely “ NO ”. There are so many bacterias and hazardous chemicals in unclean water and one of the hazardous chemicals is Arsenic. Cambodia also one of the countries that have the most Arsenic in water. Sa Ang district is one of Cambodia’s district that its water contains a lot of Arsenic. RDI is one of the well known non-government organization in Cambodia that trying to solve a lot of problems. According to Mrs. Ann Hall (the community health disease) said that if the Arsenic already in the body there is no way to remove the Arsenic from the body and it can’t be treated. This organization also help to provide the wells that don’t contain any Arsenic. This the arsenic documentary in English and click hear if you want to watch the Born Sweet documentary about Arsenic and it in Khmer. Arsenic comes from natural processes and we can’t clean the water the already contain Arsenic. If you drink water that contains Arsenic it doesn’t react until you drink it a days/weeks you will abdominal pain, vomiting and diarrhea it just the short-term exposure and the long-term exposure it will react 1 to 7 after you drink the water that contains Arsenic year we will thickening and discoloration of the skin. There are more problems that it can cause and it also can make you die at an early age. But, don’t worry there someone trying to solve this problem. The United Nations is the intergovernmental organization which means the International Governmental Organization (IGO) and their job is maintained international peace and security, develop friendly relations among nations, achieve international cooperation and is a center for harmonizing the actions of nations. In an article written about the UN goal of clean water and sanitation, the UN hopes that, “By 2030, substantially reduce the number of deaths and illnesses from hazardous chemicals in air, water, and soil pollution and contamination (goal#3)” If the water that you use has this chemical, it isn’t good for your health. It can cause a lot of health issues and the most common one is disability. If there are a lot of citizens in that country can’t access to good health the whole country won’t be developing. So, the government needs to make sure that its citizens have to access to clean water. Because the government has enough ability and money to solve this problem. Even though, the government already provide the well for its citizens but, the water in that well still is unsafe to drink. It a serious problem, no access to good health the whole country won’t be developing and the country won’t developing the world won’t be developing too. Everything Start from small to big even the problem too.
Economic growth is one of the important parts of the country without economic growth the country won’t be developing. Economic growth also related access to good health or access to clean water. No access to clean water can affects the economic growth if we have no access to clean water we will sick and spend the money on the hospital, but we still drink unclean water because we are not access to clean water if you don’t drink that water you will die and to keep alive on choices to choose besides drinking that water but, you don’t know that unclean water also can lead you to die. According to www.siwi.com they said that “Improved water supply and sanitation and improved water resources management boost countries economic growth and contribute greatly to poverty eradication”. No access to clean water can lead you to poverty because when you are sick you can’t go to schools, work and you miss a lot of good opportunities such as learning and having time with friend or family. ( Water.org ) is an American nonprofit developmental aid organization, co-founded by Matt Damon, and WaterPartners, co-founded by Gary White. Their goal is to provide aid to regions of developing countries that do not have access to safe drinking water and sanitation. The website states, “Time spent gathering water or seeking safe sanitation accounts for billions in lost economic opportunities” (in-text citation). Access to clean water and sanitation at home can help them save more time, having more time with family, education and work opportunities that will help them break the cycle of poverty. But, nowadays there are 260 billion U.S. dollars lost globally each year due to lack of basic water and sanitation and 844 million people living without access to clean water and sanitation. Economic stop growing also because of that problem “No access to clean water” . So the Government should think about this problem if all of the citizens of its country have access to clean water the whole country will be developing. The economy will be starting to grow faster than why having access to clean water can affect the whole country and I believe that is the government can solve this problem before it affects the whole country.
Another reason why everyone should access to clean water is that people need a healthy life to continue living. People can’t continue living without a healthy life. According to www.health.com said that “Live healthy, live longer. Making just a few changes in your lifestyle can help you live longer”. So, Living with healthy can make you live longer. According to www.worldometers.info said that there more than 54m of people that die this year and there are more than 1m of people that die because of no access to water sanitation and living with unhealthy life. Mikhail Sergeyevich Gorbachev is a Russian and formerly Soviet politician. He uses to be the eighth and last leader of the Soviet Union. “Water, the basic ingredient of life, is among the world’s most prolific killers.” While there is a lack of accessing to safe drinking water, the world’s children lost at least 4000 due to this water-related diseases. This is a really serious problem that now a day there still 844M of people living without access to clean water and sanitation. All of them aren’t living with a healthy life because of they drink that unclean water. For us, that unclean water isn’t important and we hate that water sometimes we don’t even touch that water but for them, that unclean water is much important as their life they can’t live without that water and some of them don’t know that drinking unclean water can affect their health but, they always dream of having clean water in their daily life. There a lot of organizations that working on that problem. But, they still can’t solve that problem they need our help from all of us and the government too. I can’t imagine how can they drink that water and living with unhealthy life. Arsenic still in water and people still drink that water and when the arsenic already in the body it can’t be removed or treated. If I’m one of the people that living an unhealthy life I don’t know that I can live until today or not and have the opportunity that I have today or not. Last but not least Living with a healthy life also related to Living with clean water. If we drink that unclean water and not access to clean water we aren’t living with a healthy life and you will die at an early age and miss a lot of good opportunities.
So, according to this three reason the government needs to make sure that its citizens have access to clean water and receive the same amount of clean water. No access to clean water is the world biggest problem. Everyone needs full access to clean water in order to have a healthy life, happy life and it also can help the economic growth in their country.
